Bamburgh Lighthouse

This metal framed lighthouse was built in 1910 on the shore front at Black Rock Point, Bamburgh, Northumberland. The light was converted to electricity in 1967 and eventually discontinued in 1975. In fact the skeletal tower was removed and a light placed on the adjacent carbide store which provided the original source of power in 1910.
